Adventure Shangrila has introduced a Volunteer / Culture Study Program handled by a group of experienced personnel. Our goal is to give an overview of Nepal's diverse geographical and cultural environment and to help the participants to develop an awareness and deeper understanding of cultural differences.

Introduction:
Nepal is a tiny Kingdom situated on the southern slopes of the Himalaya which is rich in cultural heritage. Nepal is not only a land of spectacular views and natural beauty, but also a place of ancient history, and a colourful cultural environment. The art and culture of Nepal are timeless (changeless, throughout the passage of time). Indeed it is a land for you to experience and discover a unique way of life.

Objectives:
The volunteer programme helps participants to explore the diverse geography and to develop understanding of cultural differences through experiential learning. The main objective of the programme is to provide opportunities to the people from all over the world who are interested in gaining a cultural experience and, at the same time are willing to share their time and skills for the benefit of local community.
